River Bend Resort is located on the Rainy River just around the corner from 4-mile bay, Lake of the Woods Minnesota.

River Bend Resort was established 1984 and prior to that was Gerhart's Resort. It has come a long way and continues to improve and exceed customers expectations. The resort is owned and operated by Charlie Kasberger and his two sons Max and Wilson. The staff at river bend is what makes river bend so successful. Most of the employees have been here since Charlie bought the resort in 2005. Our staff of cooks, waitresses, bar staff and fishing guides are a tight knit well honed operators. We know fishing, we live fishing. It is about the fishing that we are all so dedicated to the comfort and happiness of the customers who frequent River Bend Resort. Charlie has been in the area and on the lake since 2001. He has surrounded himself with some of the best and most experienced guides on the lake. When people come to river bend to fish with us we take it personally, we work hard and find fish. Our guides boast over 120 years of combined experience. The staff inside the lodge are second to no one. They work hard and take immense pride in their ability to exceed the customers expectations.
