Fishing continues to stay strong out in the lake. People have been catching a lot fish from Light House Gap to Morris Point Gap. 15-19 feet of water have been the biggest targeted area. Vertical jigging with frozen shiners, and also frozen shiners tipped with a piece of nightcrawler. Some boats have also been having luck out in the 28 to 31 foot range using the same methods.

Up north fishing has been fantastic. From Knight Island, up to Bridges Island, and over to Garden Island, nice fish have been filling the live well. Most of the boats have been jig fishing along the rock piles about half way up the breaks. Also in the rubble along Bridges Island and Starren Shoals along the south side of Garden Island. The West Bar and East Bar of Garden has been the ideal spot to pull spinners with crawler harnesses. Been getting reports of limits caught in only a few passes! That always makes for fun days on the lake!!

See you out there!
